Bring it to life.
My first batch of pet portraits were all for close friends and colleagues. They trusted me enough to paint their companions and to even pay me money for it! And for that I am forever grateful.

My first quick painting of Scout. I used some white crayon as a relief with very little focus on other texture.
Murtaugh. This sqooshy-face boy belongs to my friend Katy. I definitely started paying more attention to texture, but still maintained some of the sketchy nature around the paws and kerchief.
Chipper! I'd say that I maintained a cartoon-y look for my first few dogs, but this is actually what Chip looks like...
Julep. She has since passed away, but she'll always be the sweetest stinky lopey lion around. We love you Juju.
Darcy. This stately lady has an amazing pair of ears.
Piccolo. If you think that this good boy looks like a gentle soul with a giant head... you'd be right.
